A plurality of pieces of data on electricity demands per unit time are calculated on the basis of stored data on measured electricity amounts and are stored in a data storage area (4) for each day, said unit time being a predetermined time period shorter than one day. A daily maximum electricity demand, that is, a maximum electricity demand in each entire day, is extracted for each day from the plurality of pieces of electricity demand data stored in the data storage area for each day, and operation days and non-operation days are determined by a data processing unit (5) on the basis of the extracted daily maximum electricity demands in the respective days, whereby operation days and non-operation days are automatically distinguished from each other without the need for manually distinguishing day-of-week characteristics such as weekdays, holidays, and non-operation days, or the need for inputting such characteristics. |
