BINDER LATEX FOR NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR ROLL USED IN IRON WORKS AND NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR ROLL USED IN IRON WORKS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder latex for a nonwoven fabric for a roll used in iron works that is excellent in oil resistance and heat resistance at a high temperature and has acid resistance, and a nonwoven fabric for a roll used in iron works. SOLUTION: A binder latex for a nonwoven fabric for a roll used in iron works is produced by copolymerizing a mixture of the following monomers: 20-50 wt.% vinyl cyanide monomer; 50-80 wt.% conjugated diene monomer; 0.05-5 wt.% acrylamide monomer; 0.5-10 wt.% unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer; and 0-29.45 wt.% monomer copolymerizable therewith. A nonwoven fabric for a roll used in iron works employs the binder latex.
