PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent entrance of soil and mud in a gap, to prevent the damage to vegetables during conveyance, and to facilitate maintenance. SOLUTION: A conveying device for a vegetable harvesting machine is formed such that a pair of right and left endless belts are longitudinally arranged and rotated in directions opposed to each other, and a gap between the two endless belts forms a conveyance surfaces. A tube 10 is arranged at the outer periphery of a conveyance belt, the tubes 10 are arranged vertically in a plurality of stages, and a valve 15 is situated at the tube, so that pressure in the tube is variable.
