The device has a retractable strap (22) with an end directly mounted and pivoting on a pivot. The strap has an end (25) hooked in a portion of a side (30) of a trunk in a service position for maintaining the strap against a load. The former end is integrated to a rear seat (10) that includes a positioning rail in which the former end is adapted to slide. The rail has pre-positioning points to block the former end in movement.
