PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat, solving the problem such as lowering of seating feeling, small moving amount of a headrest, and functional lowering of a lumbar support mechanism. SOLUTION: In this vehicle seat, the headrest 6 is fitted to an upper frame 24 of a square frame shaped backrest frame 3 to be movable forward and backward by an upper link 12, the backrest frame 3 is provided with a lower link 35 connected by a transmitting member 31 to operate the upper link 12, and the lower link 35 is provided with a rear end collision sensor 40 for sensing the backward movement due to the inertia of a seated person. A sensor mounting shaft 38 is fixed to one of the rear end collision sensor 30 and a rotary arm 36 of the lower link 35, and the sensor mounting shaft 38 is passed through an insert hole 38A provided in the other thereof. A push nut 38B is engaged with the sensor mounting shaft 38 projected from the insert hole 38A, and the rear end collision sensor 40 is freely rotated to the sensor mounting shaft 38, and not moved in the axial direction of the sensor mounting shaft 38.
