A washing machine is provided to maximize washing water circulation effect and minimize using amount of detergent by installing a protruding member capable of rotating with a drum in rotating the drum at an external wall of the drum. A washing machine includes a tub(20), a drum(60), and a protruding member. Washing water is contained in the tub. The drum is rotated in the interior of the tub. The protruding member is provided on the external wall of the drum. The protruding member is integrally formed with the drum. The protruding member is able to be attached to and detached from the drum and is inclined to the rotational direction of the drum with respect to the radial direction of the drum. The protrusion member is inclined with respect to the axial direction of the drum. |
