The contacting station has a contacting and measuring unit, which has multiple contact-needles or measuring-needles, which are adjusted in an axial direction between a measuring and an outer-contact position. The transfer needle assigned with a contact pin is mechanically and electrically contacted and adjusted to execute a measuring process at a specimen (13). The needles and the pins are displaced in an output and idle position relative to a measuring position. The pins are displaced to the transfer needles under formation of an insulating space in the output and idle position.
