A jewelry display mount and a jewelry display case or showcase are provided. The display mount and display case are configured to display jewelry, including larger pieces of jewelry and earrings, and allow the mount to stand approximately upright or near upright in the case and in the jewelry box. The base of the display mount is designed to be cooperatively received in a slot in the shelf of the display case when displayed, and in a slot provided in or on a jewelry box when sold or transported.
