METHOD AND APPARATUS OF MULTIPLEXING TRANSMISSION FRAME FOR DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA BROADCASTING

A frame multiplexing method and a device of digital multimedia broadcasting are provided to enable high-efficiency transmission as being compatible with a general digital multimedia broadcasting signal, thereby variously providing high-quality video services and services that need high-efficiency transmission. Stream receivers(410) receive plural streams. The stream receivers output information on plural services individually restored from the streams. An input stream manager(420) prepares a first list by using the information on the services. A mapping unit(430) classifies the services into a service of a first ensemble and a service of a second ensemble by using the first list. An output stream manager(440) prepares a second list. The second list includes information on the first ensemble and the second ensemble. A first frame generator(460) receives at least one stream that restores the service of the first ensemble by using the second list. The first frame generator generates a first frame corresponding to the first ensemble.
