PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive cable capable of preventing a current from substantially flowing through a normal conductive shield layer in the steady time in the superconductive cable equipped with a superconductive shield layer and the normal conductive shield layer. SOLUTION: The superconductive cable includes the superconductive shield layer formed by spirally winding a superconductive wire material, and the normal conductive shield layer formed by spirally winding a normal conductive wire around the outside of the superconductive shield layer. The normal conductive wire to constitute the normal conductive shield layer is wound around at following conditions: (1) the winding direction of the normal conductive wire is made the same as that of the superconductive wire to constitute the outermost layer of superconductive shield layers. (2) As for pitches of the normal conductive wire, each pitch is set to have such a pitch spacing that the deviation ratio of the pitch of the normal conductive wire to that of the superconductive wire to constitute the outmost layer of the superconductive shield layers becomes minus 20 to 50%.
