The invention relates to chemical-pharmaceutical field, namely to biologically active compounds of quinolin-4-on derivatives which can be used in producing of drugs for treatment of CNS diseases, accompanied with depressive states and accompanied memory impairment.The task of the invention is the expanding of agents region with antidepressive and antiamnestic action for improvement of quality in treatment of depressive states and accompanied memory impairments, and possibility of pharmacotherapy individualization owing to the use of 2-methyl-3-phenylaminomethylquinolin-4-on.The task of the invention is solved by use of 2-methyl-3-phenylaminomethylquinolin-4-on of general formulaas an agent of antidepressive and antiamnestic action.
