摘要 Provided is a rectifier circuit for a three-phase AC power supply, which has a rectifier circuit system capable of freely controlling voltage variation of different kinds ranging from the voltage in full-wave rectification to the voltage in voltage-multiplying rectification, and with which both a further improvement in efficiency and a more expansive driving range, in comparison to conventional systems, can be achieved. A converter device is equipped with: a switching means which is provided between an AC side of a three-phase diode bridge and a midpoint between smoothing capacitors connected in series, and which performs switching so as to activate each phase of the three-phase AC power supply; and a controller for controlling the switching means. The controller controls the switching means such that a phase of the three-phase power supply is activated for a time period in which said phase has the highest or lowest voltage, said voltage being detected by a detection means.
