PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaving bed detecting device which may be flexibly applied to movement from a bed, and not determine the movement of a nurse etc. away from a bed as leaving bed of an observation target person.SOLUTION: Leaving bed detecting means 2 comprises: an image generation part 21 outputting image frames successive in time dependent manner based on a photo image from a camera 1; a mobile body extracting part 22 extracting a mobile body from information of the successive image frame; a gravity center calculation part 23 calculating the gravity center of the extracted mobile body; and a leaving bed determining part 24 observing the position of the gravity center and determining leaving bed of a person on the bed when a movement meeting with a predetermined requirement relatively to a determination line set on the image frame is detected. The leaving bed determining part 24 determines leaving bed of the person on the bed when a crossing movement over the determination line from the bed side relatively to the determination line is detected, and does not execute leaving bed determination until the movement of the mobile body stops for a given time period after the detection of the crossing movement over the determination line from the other side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
