PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet size detection device in which a space occupied by a detection mechanism is reduced, a sheet feeder and an image formation apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: A sheet size detection device 5 comprises a sheet placement part 5S, a regulation part 510 and a width direction size detection mechanism. The regulation part 510 includes a pinion gear 511, a first cursor 512, and a second cursor 513. The width direction size detection mechanism detects a size in a width direction of the sheet in accordance with a position in the width direction of the regulation part 510. The width direction size detection mechanism includes a first rack 512A, a part to be contacted 520A, a switch 521, a first lever 522 and a second lever 523. The part to be contacted 520A is contacted by the first rack 512A following a slide movement of the first cursor 512. The switch 521 is arranged in a rear side with respect to the second cursor 513 and detects a sheet width of the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
