A case 100 for a portable electronic device is disclosed for aligning the electronic device for wireless charging. The case comprises a housing having a front opening, a rear 101 wall and side walls 102 that form a cavity for receiving the device. The case further comprises a mating element 107 for locating the case relative to a wireless charging transmitter associated with a charging bay. Also disclosed is a charging bay 300 for receiving said case, the bay comprising a wireless charging transmitter device 301, and a mating portion for co-operating with the mating element of the case. The bay further comprises a plurality of electrical pathways 305 for communicating energy between the transmitter and power supply. Further claimed is a charging unit 400 comprising a base 401 and side walls 403 extending from the base, to define a housing, a power supply 408, which distributes power to a plurality of outlets 409 spaced within the housing, and a plurality of charging bays, the bays arranged to couple with a respective power output. |
