PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumable management system that can accurately predict the timing of replenishment/replacement of consumables for each of image forming apparatuses connected to the same network, irrespective of the number of image forming apparatuses.SOLUTION: A device group 110 and a management apparatus 120 are connected to each other via a network NTW. The management apparatus includes a storage part 350 that stores registration information 351 on the device group, and a notification part 312 that determines the number of devices from the registration information and notifies the devices of the number. The devices each include a monitoring part that monitors the degree of consumption of toner, a prediction part that predicts the timing of replenishment of toner on the basis of the degree of consumption, and a request part that transmits a request to replenish toner when the predicted timing is reached. Every time the number of devices is notified from the notification part, the prediction part corrects a prediction value of the timing of replenishment on the basis of comparison between the number of devices and the number of devices notified previously.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
