PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an overtone sustain with a simple configuration without damaging the timbre of a drum itself.SOLUTION: A drum includes a trunk 2, and a sound absorption member 6 to be attached to a folded unit 15 folded to the radial inside of a main body 14 of the trunk 2. The drum includes a vibration control member 7 that is attached to the folded unit 15 and suppresses the vibration of the trunk 2. In the drum, the sound absorption member 6 is attached to a first surface 15a of the folded unit 15 that faces the axial outside of the trunk 2, and the vibration control member 7 is attached to a second surface 15b of the folded unit 15 that is reverse to the first surface 15a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
