PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of increasing transfer speed of image data in response to a transfer request of the image data.SOLUTION: A data transfer device includes: a cache memory 37 having a storage part 370 for more quickly writing and reading image data GD of an input image than an image data storage part 22 in which that data is stored; and data transfer request means 30 for outputting a transfer request of the image data in a certain area in the input image to the cache memory 37. When image data of a pixel line included in a reading area corresponding to the transfer request is not stored in the storage part 370 in the cache memory 37, the cache memory 37 selectively reads the image data which is not stored in the storage part 370 from the image data storage part 22 beyond the reading area for every pixel line. Also, the data transfer request means 30 successively makes the transfer request of the image data in each of the plurality of reading areas arranged in a horizontal direction of the input image in order of arrangement in the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
