PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan device that determines whether an overload is charged on a USB power supply apparatus and stops the fan operation when the overload is charged.SOLUTION: A USB fan device using a USB power supply includes a motor 4 for driving a fan, a motor driving circuit 3, and a microcomputer 2. The microcomputer 2 sets a voltage or current threshold for determining the stop of a motor driving operation. During the operation of the motor driving circuit 3, the microcomputer measures the USB port output voltage or calculates the current between the motor driving circuit 3 and the motor 4 at a predetermined timing. When the measured voltage is lower than the voltage threshold or the calculated current is higher than the current threshold, the microcomputer stops the motor driving operation of the motor driving circuit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
