PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a user load when selecting an image to generate a composite image from a plurality of images.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes: an image acquisition unit 51, an image evaluation unit 53, an image selection unit 55 and an image generation unit 56. The image acquisition unit 51 acquires a plurality of images. The image evaluation unit 53 respectively evaluates the plurality of images acquired from the image acquisition unit 51, on the basis of information caused by at least one operation among operations related to specific imaging, editing and reproduction of each image. Based on the evaluation result by the image evaluation unit 53, the image selection unit 55 selects a predetermined number of specific images from the plurality of images.
