PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems caused by the fact that a cotton pad is compressed in the rib of a tail plug side, and a cotton pad holding power of the tail plug is made larger than the sum of a cotton pad holding power of a guide rib of a shaft cylinder and the contact resistance of the cotton pad and a pen nib, as a result, the capillary force of the cotton pad of the tail plug side becomes higher, which causes such a risk that the ink supply to a pen rib side becomes insufficient and the ink may not be used efficiently till the last.SOLUTION: A writing instrument is configured such that a cotton pad with ink absorbed therein is disposed inside a shaft cylinder, a pen nib is attached and inserted in front of the cotton pad, and a tail plug for pinching the cotton pad is mounted in the rear. The tail plug is detachably provided to the shaft cylinder, and when detaching the tail plug from the shaft cylinder, it is detached along with the cotton pad. A compressive force of the tail plug to the cotton pad is weakened more than the compressive force of the pen nib to the cotton pad. |
