PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode plate for lead storage battery use which is easy to charge a negative electrode active material paste, achieves a high-rate discharge performance superior to conventional ones, and has good resistance to sulfation.SOLUTION: A negative electrode plate for lead storage battery use comprises a negative electrode active material. The negative electrode active material includes 1.0-2.5 mass% of carbon black and 0.1-0.9 mass% of bisphenol condensation product to 100 mass% of spongy lead, and has a pore size whose median value is 0.5 μm or less on a volume base, and a porosity of 0.22-0.4 mL/g. |
