PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which the final appearance of a printed matter becomes different if a transparent film cannot be discharged in a reversed manner in a case where there is a need to perform printing with a mirror image on a rear surface by using the transparent film or the like for the cover sheet when performing bookbinding printing or unbound folding printing.SOLUTION: A printer executes control by switching between: the first control of determining whether or not a sheet on which image data of a cover sheet is printed is a specific sheet when receiving printing data for bookbinding including image data of the cover sheet and the text, and when it is determined the cover sheet is the specific sheet, sequentially printing the image data of the text from the last of the text to the head, discharging the printed sheets without reversing by reversing means, printing the image data of the cover sheet to the specific sheet, and discharging the specific sheet without reversing by the reversing means; and the second control of printing a mirror image of the image data of the cover sheet to the specific sheet, discharging the specific sheet without reversing by the reversing means, sequentially printing the image data of the text from the head of the text to the last, and discharging the printed sheets with reversing by the reversing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
