PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting device having an organic light emitting element that is suppressed or prevented from being deteriorated in light emission characteristic due to occurrence of a dark spot over a long term, and electronic equipment having high reliability that has the organic light emitting device.SOLUTION: An organic EL device 100 includes a substrate, an organic EL element 30 disposed on the substrate, and a sealing layer 34 for sealing the organic EL element 30. The sealing layer 34 is a laminate in which a first sealing layer 34a, a buffer layer 34b, and a second sealing layer 34c are stacked in order from the organic EL element 30 side. The second sealing layer 34c is mainly composed of silicon oxynitride, and has an inner layer 341, an intermediate layer 342, and an outer layer 343 which are arranged in order from the organic EL element 30 side. When the transmittance of a peak occurring in the vicinity of 1200 cmin a measurement using a Fourier transform type infrared spectrophotometer is represented by of A[%] and the transmittance of a peak occurring in the vicinity of 3300 cmis represented by B[%], B/Ais 0.6 in the intermediate layer 342.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
