PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the entire processing time of plural articles by shortening the maximum processing time instead of extending the minimum processing time for the second and subsequent positioning control when at least two times of positioning control are performed.SOLUTION: An information adding device comprises: a first rotation drive unit 102 which is arranged in the vicinity of a first area in the conveyance path of a conveyance unit 101; scanner units 103 and 107 which read code information in an article; a first sensor unit 104 and a second sensor unit 106 which detect position information of a reference point set in advance in the article; a second rotation drive unit 105 which is a member arranged in the vicinity of a second area set on the downstream side with respect to the first area in the conveyance path of the conveyance unit 101 and rotates the article on a plane when the article is conveyed to the second area by the conveyance unit 101; a printer unit 108 which adds information based on the code information to the article; and a control unit 109. The control unit 109 conveys the article from the first area to the second area by rotating the article after reading the code information in the first area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
