PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a garbage collecting vehicle which can be used both for collecting kitchen garbage and for collecting coarse garbage, and which can prevent equipment from moving and hitting an operator during collection work.SOLUTION: A garbage collection box 3 is constituted by a loading space part 8 and a cover member 10. The cover member 10 is constituted by a front end cover piece 30, a central cover piece 31, and a rear end cover piece 32. In the cover pieces 30, 31, 32, the one mounted on the further rear side has a larger cross-sectional area, out of the cover pieces 30, 31, 32. The central cover piece 31 and the rear end cover piece 32 can be moved linearly by a manual operation in the forward/backward direction of a truck body 2. A pair of engaging members are provided at a portion in which cover pieces are overlapped in a closed state, and the engaging member has a contact surface which burdens a movement component of the cover piece in a lateral direction with respect to a vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
