摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from stalling even in case of the load being added in time of being ungeared from high revolution, by controlling a difference in torque generating patterns, which is caused by a response lag of a cylinder suction air quantity in time of variations in an engine speed, while compensating the response lag of the generating torque. CONSTITUTION:When an air-fuel ratio is almost nearly kept in constant upon controlling a fuel injection quantity, generating torque out of an engine is considered to be proportionate to a cylinder suction air quantity Qa so that a difference (torque compensation value) DELTAT between actual torque and ideal torque is also considered to be proportionate to a difference between an actual cylinder suction air quantity Qa2 and an ideal cylinder Qa1. Accordingly, a value proportionate to the compensation torque value DELTAT is calculated, and the result is converted into a compensation value for ignition timing with the function preset by a control part 51 or table data whereby the ignition timing is controlled upon compensating as much as a portion for this compensation value. With this constitution, a torque response lag due to that of the cylinder suction air quantity is compensated so that the response lag of generating torque due to variations in an engine speed is in no case brought into existence.
