A reference grid having a plurality of reference marks is photographed with a digital measuring camera, said reference marks being distributed throughout the entire measured image. By comparing the reference coordinates with the coordinates of the measured image using geodetic, graphic data processing software, X/Y deviations from the geometrically true are detected for every photographed reference mark. Said deviations are integrated as mesh-specific correction constants in an image modifying software by means of individual reseau meshes of a reseau (1) that totally covers the measured image. In said reseau, geometric deviations of the coordinates of the measured image are identical to those of the reference coordinates. By using an identical reseau defined in said software, the mesh-specific correction constants are introduced into the image pixels of any given measured image of said measuring camera and the measured images are thereby geometrically-true corrected. The method is also suitable for emulsion images when the devices for digitizing said images are also included in the determination of the reseau mesh-specific correction constants.
|
