LUMBER CONNECTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber connection structure which is excellent in resistance against tension and advantageous for construction of a large-scale wooden building by using lumber pieces. SOLUTION: According to the lumber connection structure, longitudinal edges of the two lumber pieces 14 are connected together by means of a single metal plate 16, two main drift pins 18, and four sub-drift pins 20. The metal plate 16 is embedded in both the lumber pieces 14 via two end faces 1402 butted against each other. Each main drift pin 18 extends widthwise via a height central portion of the lumber piece 14 and penetrates the metal plate 16 almost at right angles. The sub-drift pins 20 are arranged on one side and the other side of the metal plate 16 in a thickness direction so as to extend at right angles to the main drift pins 18, and they each abut on the main drift pin 18 at a location closer to the end face 1402.
