<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a fuel cell system with high-efficiency power generation performance stably obtained through dissolution of a gas blending condition formed by air remaining in a fuel gas diffusion layer and hydrogen diffused from a fuel gas flow channel, and through restraint of corrosion of a platinum-supported carbon carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system having an electrolyte layer (an electrolyte membrane) 11 between an oxidant gas diffusion layer and a fuel gas diffusion layer 15 is to also include a combustion catalyst 24 dispersed in the fuel gas diffusion layer 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
