PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device constituted so as to control the size of a pattern, which is formed by drying liquid droplets, to a desired size. SOLUTION: A discharge head 30 is inclined by a discharge angleθ1 to be arranged on a carriage and discharged fine liquid droplets Fb are allowed to fly along a discharge direction J1 inclined by a discharge angleθ1 in the direction shown by an arrow Y with respect to the normal direction (direction shown by an arrow Z) of a substrate 2 (surface). Then, the impact position Pa of the fine liquid droplets Fb arriving at the back 2b is set so as to deflect in the direction shown by the arrow Y, that is, in the irradiation direction of a laser beam B by arriving position deflection quantity L1 from a nozzle arranged position PN to approach the substrate 2.
