<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic filter which makes the device composition of a synthetic gas-using system simple and improves energy efficiency, and also provide a system using the ceramic filter. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramic filter carries at least a tar-decomposing catalyst with it. When the ceramic filter (23) is used, for example, in a gas-engine electric power generation system, gases generated in a gasification furnace (21) pass through the ceramic filter. Consequently, dust included in the exhausted gas is collected, and, at the same time, tar included in the exhausted gas is decomposed, and then the synthetic gas clear of char and tar is fed into an engine (26). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
