<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component regulating method for water-based ink, capable of easily and properly adjusting a component ratio of a water-based ink containing alcohol aqueous solution to be near the predetermined set conditions, and to provide the device therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The component regulating device for keeping component ratio of the water-based ink containing an alcohol aqueous solution to be near the predetermined set conditions comprises a first physical quantity measuring means 18 of the control object water-based ink and measuring the first physical quantity varying corresponding to alcohol evaporation amount and water evaporation amount from the ink, a second physical quantity measuring means 17 of the control object water-based ink and measuring the second physical quantity varying corresponding to alcohol evaporation amount and water evaporation amount from the ink, a calculation means 4 calculating evaporation amount of alcohol and water of the control object water-based ink from the variation corresponding to the set conditions of the first physical quantity and the second physical quantity, and adding means 15 and 16 adding alcohol and water of equal amount to each evaporation amount to the control object water-based ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
