<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inductor current from becoming larger or smaller than a predetermined current value, when charging and discharging a piezoelectric element from an inductor. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid discharging device includes the piezoelectric element which is operated by being charged or discharged and discharges a liquid; the inductor for charging or discharging the piezoelectric element by storing energy; switches provided between one end of the inductor and a first power supply and between the one end of the inductor and a second power supply having a potential which is lower than that of the first power supply respectively; switches provided between the other end of the inductor and the first power supply and between the other end of the inductor and the second power supply respectively; and a control unit for controlling ON/OFF of each of the switches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
