<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supporting a rotary shaft of a vertical type wind turbine, not susceptible to breakage or requiring less maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: An upper powerful permanent magnet 5 and a lower powerful permanent magnet 6 facing each other are disposed to an upper end part of the nonmagnetic rotary shaft 30 of blades of the vertical type wind turbine generator, wherein the powerful permanent magnets 5, 6 are doughnut type and repel each other. The rotary shaft 30 of the blades passes through the center of the two doughnut type permanent magnets 5, 6, and a tip of the upper doughnut type magnet 5 is stuck to the tip part of the rotary shaft 30 of the blades by welding or the like. Even when the blades and the generator 3 are suspended, the magnets are not in contact with each other and remain suspended to support them, so that a generator body connected with the blades are rotated with near-zero resistance when it starts rotating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
