PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted display which can be properly operated without seeing an operation component. SOLUTION: The rear edge of a support arm 5 is composed of a flexible member 5a, and is bent by applying force thereto. A bending direction is detected by a strain sensor (not shown) that is buried in the flexible member 5a or is stuck to the flexible member 5a. Accordingly, the bending direction of the flexible member 5a is detected in four, or eight divisions, or the like. When bending in a prescribed division direction is detected, it is determined that an operation corresponding thereto is input, thereby serving as the operation component, such as a push button switch.
