PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte capable of attaining a secondary battery which is excellent in low temperature discharge characteristics and cycle characteristics.

SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte includes monofluorophosphoric acid salt and/or difluorophosphoric acid salt, and further includes a compound expressed by general formula (1). In the general formula (1), R1to R5are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, and a 1-20C hydrocarbon group which may be substituted with a halogen atom, A is a carbon atom or the like, B is a carbon atom or a sulfur atom, and p is 0 or 1.
