<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor that is excellent in ESR characteristics, heat resistance, and adhesion with a solid electrolyte without deteriorating material characteristics of a separator. <P>SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor is configured so that a solid electrolyte is used as an electrolyte for a capacitor element around which anode foil being chemically converted foil generated by subjecting a valve action metal such as aluminum to anodic oxidation, and opposite cathode foil are wound via separator paper.
