preparing a message, by a controller, for transmission to a primary station, the message comprising at least a data field for storing data in an allocated resource, the allocated resource comprising a plurality of resource blocks,dividing, by the controller, the allocated resource into a first portion and a second portion, each of the first and second portions comprising at least one resource block, in the case where the size of the allocated resource is larger than required for the size of the message,transmitting, by a transmitter controlled by the controller, the portion of the message located in the first portion of the allocated resource, to the primary station, andpreventing, by the controller, transmission in the second portion of the allocated resource. |
