The present invention refers to a horizontal trap of microparticles suitable to be implemented in conventional optic microscopes, which comprises the use of single mode fiber optic arranged in a horizontal manner. This trap allows one or several organic, inorganic or dielectric molecules to be trapped. Its usefulness lies in enabling a single live or inert microparticle to be trapped and studied. |
