<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode active material capable of preventing generation of deposition powder during heating dehydration of solution, and synthesizing manganese-content lithium transition metal complex oxide in a simple process. <P>SOLUTION: In order to make LiMn<SB>2</SB>O<SB>4</SB>system powder or LiMO<SB>2</SB>(M=one or more kinds of Ni, Mn, and Co, always containing Mn) system powder as manganese-content lithium transition metal complex oxide at least containing manganese and lithium used for an electrode active material for a secondary battery, first, each metal salt containing the above metal as starting raw materials is dissolved in malic acid. Later, the solution obtained is gelled by heating and dehydrating it. A gelled object obtained is heated to be calcinated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
