Disclosed are an expansion base for a mobile terminal and a power supply management method therefor. When the mobile terminal is plugged to the expansion base, an enabling circuit of the expansion base is electrically connected to the mobile terminal and generates an enabling signal, and a switching circuit outputs a voltage under the control of the enabling signal so as to enable a power supply of the expansion base to supply the power under the control of the voltage; and when the plug-in connection between the mobile terminal and the expansion base is cut off, the enabling circuit stops generating the enabling signal, and the switching circuit stops outputting the voltage, so that the power supply cannot supply the power under the control of the voltage. The present invention can stop supplying the power to an expansion base when plug-in connection of a wireless network terminal is cut off without needing manual operation, and automatically supply the power to the expansion base when the wireless network terminal is plugged, thereby improving the user experience. |
