<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square battery in which a connection structure between an electrode collector terminal and a positive electrode sheet or between an electrode collector terminal and a negative electrode sheet is made to have a high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode non-treated part 32a of the positive electrode sheet 31 and a negative electrode non-treated part 36a of the negative electrode sheet 35 are arranged on opposing side-face sides of a body case 11. A positive electrode collector terminal 51 is pressure-bonded to the positive electrode non-treated part 32a of the positive electrode sheet 31 so as to connect the positive electrode collector terminal 51 conductively with the positive electrode non-treated part 32a.
