A dual mass flywheel (120) includes a first flywheel part (122) arranged for rotation on an axis (121), a second flywheel part (124) arranged for rotation on the axis (121), and a torsional damper (126) that is connected to the first flywheel part (122) and the second flywheel part (124). A linkage (210) is connected to the first flywheel part (122) and includes a first joint (222) that is movable from a first position, in which a first joint (222) of the linkage (210) is in an over-center condition, to a second position. An engaging member (250) is connected to the linkage (210) such that the engaging member (250) engages the second flywheel part (124) when the linkage (210) is in the first position and disengages from the second flywheel part (124) when the linkage (210) is in the second position. |
