PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge construction method and a bridge structure that apply a precast concrete girder to a reinforced soil abutment for realizing a long-span bridge, having a rigid junction structure between the reinforced soil abutment and the precast concrete girder, and damaging a wall surface part of the reinforced soil abutment in advance at a time of earthquake, without damaging the junction part.SOLUTION: A bridge construction method includes the following steps for: laying a main girder 16 of a precast concrete girder 20 on a reinforced concrete abutment 15 connected to reinforced banking reinforced by a geogrid, the precast concrete girder having the main girder 16 and a flange 17; overlapping and arranging a reinforcing bar L1 protruding from an edge surface 17A of the flange 17 of the precast concrete girder 20 and a reinforcing bar L2 protruding from the reinforced concrete abutment 15; and casting concrete to cover the reinforcing bars L1, L2. A notch 22 is formed on an edge part F of the precast concrete girder 20, and the reinforcing bar L1 protruding from the flange 17 of the precast concrete girder 20 and a reinforcing bar on a connecting surface 33 are overlapped and arranged with the reinforcing bar L2 of the reinforced concrete abutment 15 in the notch 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
