PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deciding method for a center pillar structure for a vehicle and the center pillar structure for the vehicle that is decided based on the deciding method, capable of satisfying collision safety by improving bending strength at the time of vehicle side collision, with reduction in weight being achieved.SOLUTION: A deciding method of a center pillar structure for a vehicle includes, relating to the center pillar structure for the vehicle which is equipped with an outer panel and an inner panel, a reinforcement deciding process S1 for deciding presence and shape of a reinforcement installed between the outer panel and the inner panel, an outer panel selection process S3 for selecting a steel plate strength of the outer panel, and an inner panel selection process S5 for selecting the steel plate strength of the inner panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
