An apparatus (100) for machining a tubular piece, wherein the apparatus comprises a frame element (102), support rollers (103), which are associated with the frame element, support a workpiece and rotate the same around its longitudinal axis. The machining unit comprises a tool member, such as for example a cutting tool (105), as well as support wheels (106) adapted to bear against a workpiece (101).
