LED PULSED LIGHT-BASED GROWING DEVICE CAPABLE OF DEGRADING PESTICIDE

A light emitting diode (LED) pulsed light-based growing device, capable of degrading a pesticide, comprises a container and a lighting device. The container comprises a plurality of shelves. A temperature and humidity controller is arranged at a top board of the container. The lighting device is an LED emitting a pulsed light having a wavelength and a flicker frequency controlled by a spectrum controller. By adopting the LED arranged in the device and having the wavelength and flicker frequency of the pulsed light controllable by the spectrum controller, a remaining pesticide in vegetable or fruit can degrade quickly. In addition, adopting an ultraviolent light UV-A having a wavelength ranging from 350 nm to 400 nm can result in increased nutrient content and an enhanced color and texture of the vegetable or fruit.
