<p>PURPOSE: A high strength concrete composition is provided which has a high affinity with cement and low manufacturing costs by replacing sand with steel-making slag. CONSTITUTION: The high strength concrete composition comprises 30-50wt.% of atomized steel-making slag with a particle diameter of 0.1-10mm, 30-50wt.% of gravel and 10-20wt.% of cement, and optionally the steel-making slag can be used in mixing slag with sand in a weight ratio of 10-90:90-10. The composition of steel-making slag is 42-63wt.% of CaO, 22-35wt.% of Fe2O3, 9-11wt.% of SiO2, 6-9wt% of MgO, and hardness is 500-700HV.</p> |
