The invention relates to precision machine building and can be used as a gear for a high-accurate linear drive for machine tool building, metro building and for the optic and electronic industries. The inventive contactless magnetic spiral gear (CMSG) comprises a screw (1), a nut (2) fitted with a constant magnet (3) arranged between magnetic conductors (14) which are fitted with polar tips (4). The screw (1) and the polar tips (4) are embodied with a fine-module thread whose roots are filled with a solid non-magnetic material flush with crest of thread. The screw (1) and the nut (2) interact with the aid of a radial clearance (11). In the second variant of the CMSG, the nut is provided with a body containing N magnetic conductors having a double length and fitted with polar tips also having a double length arranged therein and divided by constant magnets. In the third variant of the CMSG, the nut is provided with a body and a ring insert rigidly connected thereto and embodied with a multistart thread whose roots are filled with a solid magnetic material which forms constant magnets. In the fourth variant of the CMSG, an aerostatic choke element (12) is formed by a radial shelter and linked to supplying channels by means of the radial clearance (11) between the screw (1) and the nut (2).
